Bullies and Sabotage
Sadly the workplace is scattered with bullies. You need to have a plan so you do not get caught in a defensive or reactive position, which can add risk to your career.
I learned this lesson over an over again in my own career when I was made to feel unwelcome, or like I didn’t fit or shouldn’t be there, or when people whispered that I was getting promoted because reasons “other than my performance”.
I needed to learn now to not get discouraged and to stand up for myself.
You can neutralize bullies and defend against sabotage AND stay on the high ground.
This month’s webinar in my Executive Mentoring Group was on Bullies and Sabotage.
If you missed it, you can WATCH THE REPLAY
Bullies in the workplace
In this webinar, I share the tools and approach I used to stand my ground, and take away the power of the bullies without sinking to their level.
What I shared in the Webinar
In the webinar I shared 3 key actionable steps to neutralizing the negative effects of bullies in the workplace.
1. IT’S NEVER ABOUT YOU
I shared how you can take back your power and build your confidence by realizing the true source of bullying.
2. PLAN YOUR REACTIONS
I showed how to prepare to respond and react in a way that keeps you on the high ground and reduces the bully’s impact, so you feel less put down and less stressed.
3. SHINE THE SPOTLIGHT
Also I described How saboteurs work in the background, and the way to take away their influence by exposing the facts and reality of the situation
